Samantha Kelley, CPA
Samantha has over 20 years of bookkeeping, accounting and tax experience beginning when she worked as a bookkeeper for her family's construction business. Samantha manages and oversees the operations of the firm and staff. Her primary focus is on small business and individuals but she has extensive trust, estate and non-profit tax experience as well. Samantha enjoyes close relationships with her clients and has developed a knack for identifying and sharing best practices that save her clients time and money. She is known for being attentive and responsive and is highly valued for her proactive year-round efforts to make clients aware of accounting and tax issues that require attention. Empowering clients to understand and take control of their tax and accounting life is one of her great joys. When she is not at the office helping clients she loves home improvement projects, playing with her daughter and enjoying the great Colorado outdoors with her family.
Richard P. Chulick, CPA
Rick Chulick, 68, of Woodland Park passed away on April 18th after a courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by family and friends when he went home to be with Jesus.
An avid Michigan State alumnus, he was a Spartan until the very end. Rick worked as a CPA and was an astute businessman. He was an upstanding member of the Woodland Park Community. He enjoyed golfing, vacations, spending time with his family and cheering on the Spartans.
Rick is survived by his wife of 30 years, Ruth; his son Ben (Marenna); daughter Joanna (Bill) Corrigan; granddaughters Annika and Makenna; sister Paula (Jerry) Burk, nephews Zachary and Andrew and many other family and dear friends.
Brandi Henderson, CPA
Brandi, who joined the firm in January, 2008, is a tax specialist with over 10 years of experience with Chulick & Kozleski, and other CPA firms in Kansas City and Boulder, Colorado. She has experience in individual and small business taxation as well as preparing returns for non-profit organizations. She also has extensive experience with QuickBooks and other accounting software. Brandi has a BS in Accounting from Oral Roberts University. Brandi enjoys spending time with her growing family and enjoying the beautiful Colorado outdoors.
Lara's 25 years of accounting and tax experience includes extensive experiernce working with diverse industries including real estate, construction, vineyard and gaming firms. She has experience with multiple accounting and tax programs, including extensive QuickBooks experience. While she has significant experience in all areas of taxation, her focus in previous years has been in construction and trust and estate accounting and tax. In her spare time Lara rides her motorcycle as much as possible and is an avid reader.
Michele moved to Woodland Park from Kansas in 2013. She has 30 years of professional and accounting experience. Most recently, Michele was employed for 13 years with a Kansas CPA firm where she specialized in income tax preparation, estate and trust administration and financial statements. Michele has a passion for quilting, beautiful Colorado and spending time with her family.
Lisa is responsible for the day to day operations of our office. She recently moved to Woodland Park from Sacramento and is loving every minute of it.
Sandra moved from Ireland to the US in 1987. She ran several businesses in California as well as working in bookkeeping for many years prior to moving to Woodland Park in 2015. In addition to her work Sandra enjoys spending time with her family, hiking and is a voracious reader.
Todd Smith, CFP
Todd has been in financial planning and investment management since 1997 including several years with two of the world's largest financial institutions, Prudential and The Vanguard Group. Todd runs our newest wealth planning division where he provides personal financial planning and investment services to our individual and business clients. Todd holds a B.A. from Hamilton College in Clinton, NY and the Certified Financial Planner designation from the College of Financial Planning in Denver, CO.
Dan Davis, EA
Dan joined the firm in 2017 after relocating from Grand Junction, CO to Woodland Park. Dan started his career after receiving his BS in Accounting from Colorado Mesa University in December 2002. After graduation, Dan worked for Hilltop Community Resources, Inc. a Not-for- Profit 501(c)(3) organization as a staff Accountant until receiving a promotion to business manager of senior services where he oversaw the financial and facility operations of two assisted living facilities.
Dan left Hilltop in 2008 to further his business knowledge with the Internal Revenue Service as a Revenue Agent. Dan worked in the Small Business/Self-Employed division conducting examinations of small business owners. While at the IRS Dan was also a certified on-the Job Instructor for training new hires.
When not at work Dan enjoys spending time with family and friends and playing throughout the great state we live in.
